Job title: Health and Safety Administrator, Health and Safety Team (Grade 4)
Location: Kent Fire and Rescue Service Training Centre, Maidstone, Kent - mixture of office and home working - 3 days per week in office (with travel countywide, based on needs)
Hours: Full time – 37 Hours per week
Base Salary: £26,457 - £29,339 per annum, depending upon experience
Pension: Automatic membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme - career average pension scheme with 17.5% employer contribution
Holidays: In addition to entitlement to bank/public holidays you will receive 28 days holiday
Total reward value: £34,852.01 - £38,648.49 per annum

Being the Health and Safety Administrator
You’ll work with a variety of people across Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS), building trusted relationships with stakeholders and providing a reliable, efficient, and effective administration service to the Health and Safety Team.
Working closely with KFRS Health and Safety Advisors, you will provide valuable administrative expertise to managers and colleagues alike.
What you’ll do
* Work with colleagues to deliver a customer-focused service
* Deliver efficient specialist administration support to the team
* Complete and maintain the administration process of documentation relating to health and safety incident reports
* Arrange and take notes at meetings, coordinate invitations, manage diaries, and ensure agendas and other documents are distributed
* Manage the shared mailbox for the team by recording all reported incidents and directing these to a Health and Safety Advisor for investigation
