Doing Amazing Things Together
We’re all about possibilities. Are you?
Is community important to you? Are you active and outgoing, with a great sense of humour and lots of enthusiasm?
Become a Support Worker.
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
Our Outreach support across the Newbury area works alongside people living in their own homes who need people like you to ensure they can live as independently as possible. They enjoy being active and getting out and about, joining social events and activities in their local community, so if your a fun, social person or just passionate about helping others, then you could be part of our team supporting people to maintain or learn new skills needed to live their best life!
For this role we need you to be a driver with access to your own car, so you can get around Newbury and make the most of the time you are spending with the people you support. (Mileage paid)
This is a part-time role for 15 hours per week, and you should be available to work shifts across the week and some weekends.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: postcode RG14 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
"Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010".
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence
