Tax Senior Job Overview
* Processing self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately.
* Preparing and completing P11D forms.
* Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required.
* Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects.
Tax Senior Job Requirements
* CTA qualified/part-qualified.
* Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, with the ability to manage client relationships independently.
* Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
* Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of corporate restructuring desirable but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Proficiency in self-assessment software essential.
Tax Senior Salary & Benefits
* £35,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
* 21 days annual leave + 4 day Christmas shutdown + bank holidays.
