Job Description About the Company - For over 37 years CEMBRE Ltd has been designing and manufacturing solutions for connection and termination of electrical conductors: connectors, cable lugs, and tools for our Installation, cable glands, automatic and manual marking systems. With rapid growth plans at our manufacturing facility in Sutton Coldfield, we are now looking for a Environmental Advisor to join our expanding team.
About the Role - Reporting to the QHSE Manager the Environmental Advisor is responsible for cultivating a strong sustainability and environmental culture across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and experience and be able to provide and implement strategic solutions. Part of a small team, this role will work closely with the HSE Advisor and the Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities
keeping up-to-date with any changes in environmental law
conducting environmental inspections and site assessments
collating findings and reporting data to the senior management team
producing company procedures and policies about environmental concerns and emissions targets
auditing and updating environmental targets regularly
Implementation and maintenance of BS:EN:ISO-9001, BS:EN:IS0-14001 & BS:OHSAS45001
communicating environmental requirements across the organisation
