You will lead this established patient focussed service and manage the thriving pharmaceutical service delivery at Corbett Hospital Outpatient Centre. Developmental support is available through a mentorship programme to ensure you are equipped in this role. You are multi-skilled – as comfortable discussing patient care with local clinicians as you are leading medicines optimisation services with Dudley Clinical Services. As a pharmacy professional you will seek out opportunities for CPD for yourself and your team, encouraging personal growth and development. Actively manage pharmacy service delivery, making optimal use of resources available and ensuring delivery of required Trust- agreed performance standards. Provide professional pharmaceutical leadership of the pharmacy service To ensure that all activity undertaken is consistent with maintaining registration of the premises with GPhC Report regularly to the DCSL Board on the performance of DCSL pharmacy services, the operation of the SLA with DG NHS FT and other business matters Manage the finances associated with the delivery of the service Leads on home delivery of medicines at DCSL and works closely with relevant stakeholders To act as Associate Controlled Drug Accountable Officer and support the DGFT CDAO in Board assurance on controlled drug matters Work closely with the DGFT Pharmacy Leadership team and be part of this group To lead on the development and implementation of a strategy for improving business and workforce skill mix within DCSL. Provides clinical pharmacy services supporting safe prescribing and administration of medicines. To work with medical and nursing staff to establish agreement and co-operation in the prescribing and supply of all pharmaceutical products. To provide specialist pharmacist input to the HIV medicines service.
