We serve approximately 60,000 customers and manage around 300,000 meter points in the Industrial and Commercial (I&C) sector. We have an exciting opportunity for an Improvement Lead to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will be responsible for supporting Customer Experience and Improvement (CX&I) workstreams, Journeys or work packages within CX&I projects with key subject matter expertise. A key focus of the role is to support the scoping, planning, designing and implementation of initiatives that make up the overall Improvement strategy. This role will offer the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 2-3 days per week. Key responsibilities Shaping and delivering specific workstreams or work packages within CX&I projects for I&C in partnership with the relevant business areas. Ensuring that the deliverables are met, and issues are escalated when blockers are encountered. Contributing to the production and maintenance of the overall project plan and all relevant project documentation. Contributing to the establishment of a continuous improvement culture within I&C. Implementing a performance management and process-driven mindset. Developing real solutions to business problems and working collaboratively to enable implementation. Contributing to measuring impact and tracking benefits to ensure that identified improvements have had the desired impact. Presenting information, sharing findings and making recommendations to stakeholders. Facilitating and contributing to workshops, making sure all attendees can contribute constructively and making sure outputs are captured. Accurately interpreting and presenting data in interesting, innovative, visual ways, appropriate to the audience (using Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc). What we need from you Experience of stakeholder influencing and working cross-functionally. Experience of working on CX projects and identifying and delivering continuous improvement. Willingness to learn and deploy Operational Excellence and Lean tools and methodologies. The ability to produce high quality professional presentations and data analysis. Solution driven mind-set, dedicated to finding pragmatic solutions to complex problems Experience working within large transformation / continuous improvement programs / production systems / business systems. Experience of large programmes and influencing change across organisations / teams. It would be great if you had Knowledge of lean and / or agile tools and methodologies. Experience of training or coaching others to support the development of new skills. Background in Customer Experience. Experience within the UK Energy Industry.
