My client, with head office in Kuils River and business units nationwide, is seeking to employ a Digital and Process Lead. The candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies and digital capabilities within the organization. Reporting to you will be an IT Manager, Systems Accountant, and Junior Business Analyst, whom you will guide and collaborate with to achieve strategic objectives. You will spearhead initiatives to integrate and modernize systems, particularly focusing on Accounting and Reporting functions, to optimize workflow and drive productivity gains Key Responsibilities: Lead the integration and updating of systems, emphasizing Accounting and Reporting platforms, to ensure seamless operations and accurate financial reporting. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows, leveraging digital solutions and automation where applicable. Collaborate with Accounting and other business leads to implement transformative initiatives that enhance business outcomes. Drive the evolution towards a unified operating platform for Operational and Financial Reporting, ensuring consistency and efficiency across departments. Bring external expertise and best practices to the management team, fostering a technology-oriented mindset and staying abreast of industry advancements. Develop and maintain a clear understanding of accounting systems and operational intricacies, particularly within a consumer-facing environment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Tertiary qualification (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Accounting, B Comm Informatics or similar) with a solid understanding of IT systems, SQL and Business Analytics. Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a structured and methodical approach to addressing challenges. Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated drive for results and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement. Ability to build and develop knowledge within yourself and the organization, driving learning and growth. Experience working in a consumer-facing industry, with a deep understanding of the operational dynamics and customer-centric strategies. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, with a keen eye for optimizing these systems for operational efficiency.
