Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and receivable. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting practices.
Duties
1. Sales invoicing, communications with customers, and monthly issue of statements.
2. Management of Invoice Discounting and bank reconciliations over several accounts and ledgers.
3. Daily drawdown and projections for the month with the order book.
4. Sales and Purchase Ledger entries and reconciliations. Remittances allocated.
5. Daily bank reconciliation.
6. Daily cashflow management reporting to the Directors.
7. Petty cash management.
8. Processing of expenses and reimbursements.
9. Assisting external Accountants with the processing of month-end and year-end accounts, as well as VAT and payroll information.
10. Liaison with the Operations Manager and Office Manager.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally AAT level 3 and above.
2. Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
