We are currently recruiting for an Operations Director to work with us across our stadia estate. We are looking for an experienced operator who can lead our senior on-site teams to deliver and provide great experiences. This is a brand-new role and will involve working with sites we have in London, Southampton, Charlton, Watford and Peterborough.
Location: Flexible if happy to travel to London, Southampton, Charlton, Watford and Peterborough
Rate of pay: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum + amazing benefits
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, this position would require working 5 over 7 shift patterns depending on business needs
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the stadium/venue operations departments
• Lead a bottom-up review of all stadium/venue operational activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness
• Management of relationship with all stadium/venue stakeholders (internal and external)
• Set and maintain the operations budget, making sure cost controls are implemented as needed to achieve positive financial results
• Oversee control of all inventories, product cost, and purchasing
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Demonstrable event operations or stadium management experience within a high paced environment
• Proven experience delivering large scale projects on time and on budget
• Soundtrack record of managing and forecasting significant budgets
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate people and teams
• Demonstrable experience implementing change in large scale and/or complex operations
• Proven experience managing and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
