We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our team, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and efficient bar operations.
The Role
The Bar Manager at 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel will oversee operations, ensuring exceptional service, efficient bar management, and team leadership. Responsibilities include staff recruitment and training, inventory and cost control, customer service excellence, and innovative menu development.
The Person
As well as having previous experience in a similar role as a Bar Manager, we look for a Bar Manager to have an absolute commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, a charismatic personality and a natural flair for creating memorable experiences with all of our guests. You’ll have a can-do attitude and be able to respond flexibly to different guest requests and situations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere.
* Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Develop and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers.
* Manage and maintain the bar’s financial records, including cash handling, budgeting, and reporting.
* Oversee planning for special events and promotions to attract and retain clientele.
Requirements
* Experience as a Bar Manager or similar role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent understanding of bar operations, including inventory management and cost control.
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
* Great communication and organizational abilities.
