Deputy Nurse Manager
40 hours per week (16 hours supernumerary)
Salary: £51,000
As a Deputy Nurse Manager will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our client's residents. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for working with the elderly.
Qualifications
* RGN (Registered General Nurse - Adult) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin
* Proven experience in elderly care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of elderly residents
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of nursing professionals
* Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing and a commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities
* Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
* Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals for nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
* Utilize nursing home experience to contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
* Provide hands-on nursing care as required, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions
* Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other team members to continuously improve the quality of care provided
* Support a culture of inclusivity, equality, and respect within the nursing team
