Job summary The housekeeper will work as a member of the ward team; with responsibility for housekeeping tasks within that ward, at the same time they will provide an essential link between the ward and hospital support services. Ensure the ward is tidy at all times; deal with emergencies, spots, spills, floods, Cleaning of specialist equipment according to local policies. e.g. drip stands, O2 & suctions, crash trolley, ECG machine, infusion pumps in conjunction with To comply with the roles and responsibilities as defined in the Trust's Health & Safety Policy and the KSF outline for this post. To be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults by undertaking the appropriate level of training in accordance with the safeguarding policy training strategy and being aware of and working within the Trust's safeguarding policies.
