The opportunity
Due to continuous project expansion, our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Document Controller to ensure high quality checks and compliance of all project processes and standards.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Check the quality of documents to ensure they meet the Project and Company Standards.
Ensure the correct distribution of deliverables and project documentation, problem solving documentation process issues.
Train engineers in document management processes and tools and reporting hieratically to the JDO DT NI lead document controller.
Track and monitor of design change information between two client systems, liaison with review team for review and acceptance.
Will require use of bulk tools for upload and Import of documentation for which full training will be provided.
Dealing with supplier documentation to include incoming and outgoing transmittals and the processing and monitoring of deliverables.
Working as part of a team to check, submit and progress change information and documentation.
Collaborate with various stakeholders and capture of daily closed records from Change Information System.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Previous experience of document management and MS Office.
Educated to A Level standard or above.
Knowledge of electronic document management systems and other electronic tools and platforms.
Highly organised, conscientious, good communicator.
Ability to navigate in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders. The setting for the role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
