We are looking for a dedicated Hotel Night Receptionist to join our front desk team and ensure that our guests receive exceptional service throughout the night.

The Role:
As a Hotel Night Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations during night shifts, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests. You will handle late check-ins, manage guest inquiries, and provide support to guests overnight.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and check in late-arriving guests, managing the night check-in and check-out process efficiently using Opera (experience preferred but not essential).
* Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and late-night room service orders, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout the night.
* Monitor guest accounts and process payments, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and recorded correctly.
* Complete nightly administrative tasks, including preparing reports and updating the guest information system.
* Monitor the safety and security of the hotel, including conducting routine checks and ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
* Coordinate with the night team, including housekeeping and security, to address any guest needs or issues promptly.
* Provide information about the hotels facilities, dining options, and the Akasha Holistic & Wellbeing Spa, offering guidance for bookings and services available the next day.
* Maintain a clean and organized reception area that reflects the luxury and elegance of the hotel.
* Handle any guest complaints or emergencies professionally, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all guests.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar night receptionist or front-of-house role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
* Knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable; training will be provided for candidates with relevant hospitality experience.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently during night hours.
* A professional and welcoming demeanour, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility to work 12 hour night shifts (4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts from 8 pm to 8 am).
* A proactive approach to safety and security, with attention to detail in all tasks.
