A little bit about us, we are BEAR!
We’re an ambitious young company determined to take a big bite out of bad snacking habits. Grrr.
We make pure fruit snacks with no added nonsense that make being healthy a little bit easier and a whole lot tastier. Real Fruit, Real Flavour, Real Fun!
We started out making our tasty pure fruit yoyos, and now also make a whole host of other tasty pure fruit products too that go into several snacking categories: ‘paws’ for babies and toddlers, crunchy ‘Alphabites’ cereal with no refined sugar or salt. Ice lollies made from only two ingredients and a big ambition to take this brand beyond the above.
Since we launched 14 years ago, we’ve grown quickly and we are currently sold in all the UK’s supermarkets and grrreat stores across the UK.
Now we are taking BEAR around the world and have really ambitious plans for our international growth. We are a growing team of 38 people, as well as our colleagues in the Lotus Bakeries Natural Foods division; a family of brands that we joined in 2021.
Working as part of the Sales team and working closely with the Senior National Account Manager, these would be some of your main responsibilities
1. To agree and deliver strong business and promotional plans with key customers across multiple channels, ensuring sales of our products are maximised at key trading periods.
2. Manage P&L of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume and profit targets.
3. Build cross functional relationships with key customer contacts including buying, supply, trade planners and shopper marketing
4. Day-to-day basics including new line setup, EPOS & Invoice tracking with the use of retailer systems
5. You will work cross functionally with our supply and operations teams to ensure all customer forecasts are accurate including new launches, base, promo and feature activity
6. You will work with the category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products and ranging and distribution opportunities
7. Work with our shopper marketing teams to create disruptive and engaging display and feature in stores and online
8. Visit stores on a regular basis to ensure activity is executed and to review retailer and competitor trends
9. Support the Sales Team with weekly reporting and maintaining key documents for wider business
This role requires you to get take ownership of the key discounters and high street accounts, with the opportunity to seek and win new business in an innovative, fun, office environment.
