Hays Construction & Property are delighted to be working with this award-winning Contractor in recruiting for a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join the team.
Based in Cheshire, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this Contractor to undertake QA Management on sites across the UK.
Your key duties and responsibilities will be primarily to drive QA and standards across their construction projects, and ensure, in collaboration with the site teams, projects are built to spec.
You'll be supporting the project teams with guidance, quality control and the processes required to maximise standards and quality.
You'll drive and implement QA for all construction projects, and carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure projects are adhering to specifications. You'll maintain compliance documentation and health & safety protocols, including inspection reports, quality processes and site-based workmanship.
You'll have a strong background in driving the highest standards of construction processes and quality management. You must be able to build rapport with site project teams, so you must be a strong communicator, have excellent leadership skills and be successful at driving quality strategies with construction teams.
You must have a construction-based qualification, have exceptional experience working for Main Contractors on sites in excess of £5-£10 million and have an in-depth knowledge of QA, QC and the construction process.
A certificate in Quality Management would be advantageous, but not essential.
