What We're Looking For:
1. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards it.
2. Proven leadership experience in a dementia care setting, whether as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager.
3. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices to maintain high standards of care.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset to ensure the smooth running of the home.
6. A hands-on leadership approach—this is not a behind-the-desk role.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Registered Care Home Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it remains a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for residents. You'll lead and support your team, uphold CQC compliance, and continuously strive to enhance the level of care provided.
