The Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, drive sales performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will manage inventory and visual merchandising and implement strategies to achieve and exceed financial targets. This role is integral to bringing WNU’s brand vision to life, ensuring the store operates efficiently and customers leave with a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience:
o Create a welcoming and luxurious shopping environment that aligns with WNU’s brand values.
o Ensure exceptional service, fostering customer loyalty through personalized interactions and expert product knowledge.
o Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and a positive impression of the brand.
2. Sales and Financial Performance:
o Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, leveraging data insights to identify growth opportunities.
o Drive a CRM strategy in collaboration with Senior Management and Marketing to build a loyal client base.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adapt plans to optimize results across all channels.
3. Operational Excellence:
o Oversee stock management, including cycle counts, stock takes, and ensuring product availability.
o Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
o Manage store operations, including sales reporting and budget control.
o Assist WNU Pop-ups with organization and operation as needed.
4. Visual Merchandising:
o Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to maintain a visually appealing and brand-aligned store layout.
o Ensure displays are updated regularly to reflect current trends, promotions, and seasonal collections.

2. Proven experience in retail management, ideally within the fashion industry.
3. Results-driven, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving financial success.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of CRM systems and retail management software is an advantage.
7. Smart and professional appearance, embodying the WNU ethos as a brand ambassador.
