They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their office based in Southport. Client Details Our client is a well known brand with a workforce of over 5000 employees. Based in SOUTHPORT, they are known for their commitment to quality and exceptional customer service. Description You will be responsible for: Ensure customer debts are paid in a timely manner Manage the collection process while maintaining good customer relations Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary Issue monthly customer statements Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to bring payment into line with terms Provide accurate advice on billing queriesProfile A successful Credit Controller should have: A strong background in Accounting & Finance Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach A solid understanding of basic accounting principlesJob Offer If you are successful you will be entitled to: An attractive salary package between £25k 25 days holiday bank A pension - contribute 4% and they match you (after year 1, they match your contributions up to 6%).
