West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic mammographer to join their radiology team under a long-term placement contract with NHSP. You will provide leadership and advanced clinical practice in breast imaging services providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Main duties of the job
1. Deliver expert breast imaging services, including mammography interpretation, ultrasound, and breast interventional procedures (biopsies, cyst aspirations, etc.).
2. Provide clinical leadership, support and consultancy to the breast imaging team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals including radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists.
3. Participate in and present breast imaging findings at multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
4. Ensure the highest standard of patient care, maintaining dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
5. Lead the development of breast imaging protocols and contribute to research, audit, and service development.

Person Specification
* What you'll need:
* BSc in Radiography or equivalent
* Post graduate certificate in Mammography
* HCPC registration
* NHS experience
* In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
* Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable
