Our lead product, VNC Connect, allows users to connect securely to a remote device anywhere in the world, see its screen in real-time, and take control as though sitting in front of it. The product has been deployed across a myriad of use cases, from basic remote access and remote support, through to deploying the software onto connected devices such as medical ventilators, set-top boxes, heavy industrial machinery and more.
With investment from Livingbridge Private Equity, we are entering the next chapter in our growth journey and are seeking an Account Manager to join our team.
The role
RealVNC are looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Manager to generate net new revenue within our existing customer portfolio.
The Account Manager role is pivotal to the success of RealVNC by fostering key stakeholder relationships to deliver expansion across the existing business, playing an integral role in the business.
Are you an experienced Account Manager with a skill for building rapport quickly and establishing trust?
What you’ll do:
* Manage a range of SMB and enterprise accounts to generate significant revenue through establishing, nurturing, and expanding these relationships
* Proactively seek, manage and negotiate upsell and cross sell opportunities by collaborating with the wider client team (renewals and CSMs)
* Remain engaged with your accounts in the long term, to ensure continued satisfaction and growth
* Prospect, qualify and develop sales-ready opportunities via email, phone, and LinkedIn
* Support team interaction with the wider business such as Product and Marketing teams
* Meet or exceed monthly targets for expansion
Other responsibilities:
* Develop in-depth knowledge of RealVNC products and their benefits to clearly articulate value proposition to C-Level, and technical and business executives
* Build a network of customers and industry contacts to facilitate expansion and successes with our key customers
* Collaborate with the wider revenue team to ensure excellent service throughout the lifecycle of the client
* Collaborate with our Partner team to map, plan and land opportunities with our partners
* Review your own performance and effectively manage your pipeline
* Accurately document all activity in our CRM system
* Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
You
* Track record of over-achieving targets in a SaaS or similar business managing existing customer expansions
* Experience working and closing deals ranging from £1k to £20k ARR for SMB and global, enterprise businesses
* An enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
* A dynamic individual that responds well to change and works well in a fast-paced environment
* Process oriented and goal driven
* Strength in research and problem solving
* Strong listening and presentation skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly and establishing trust
* Strong objection handling and negotiation skills
* Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
* High organisation skills and attention to detail - good pipeline management skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
