What you’ll do: We are seeking a dedicated Skills Tutor to deliver construction and health and wellbeing qualifications to learners who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The role involves engaging learners through formal qualifications and enriching activities, differentiating instruction to meet diverse ability levels, and supporting learners’ progression pathways. Responsibilities include writing reviews, creating Individual Learning Plans, and ensuring positive progression outcomes. Willingness to travel to other centres as needed is required from time to time. As a Skills Tutor you will help learners to think about their futures and provide some focus on accessible career paths, whilst creating progression opportunities for both further work-based learning and employment. ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
