About this Role
The Transformation Lead, Global Marketing Excellence, Integration and Change leads the completion of marketing integration and change management for Marketing and Insights globally. It is responsible for establishing the ‘new’ brand positioning and strategy that amplifies T&L centralised/global capabilities (e.g. Sustainability, Future of Food etc.) which is executed through Regions. Against this strategy, the role defines the Marketing Capability framework and plan to execute over the next 2 years. The role creates cohesion in end-to-end Marketing through all the new company processes, but specifically the Marketing Planning process.
Accountabilities
1. Integration and Change Management:
o Responsible for Marketing Integration activities and timelines, alongside change communications and training for the Marketing Community.
2. Brand Strategy Development:
o Defines, develops and articulates the agreed global brand strategy and how it will show up in marketing activities (including Corp Comms).
o Responsible for centralised messaging in key topic areas (approved messaging, key visual assets for customer marketing) including Future of Food themes (sustainability, science, technology).
o Own and leverage global media partnerships or sponsorships (e.g. FFT, Food Navigator) to optimise reach and brand visibility.
3. Marketing Planning Process:
o Develops and owns the Marketing Planning process and global calendar, running the process for and with Regions/Platforms to develop annual marketing plans, ensuring consistency/efficiency.
o Develops a KPI measurement framework and tracks achievement globally, driving learnings into other regions and subsequent spend.
4. Best Practice and Capability:
o Defines the required Capability programme, developing the Marketing Community to reach excellence and maximise marketing investment.
o Develops and implements best practice in integrated marketing communications and serves as an SME on brand experience/key business initiatives.
Skills and Experience
1. Significant experience in Brand, Marketing and Communications roles including Marketing Strategy leadership positions. B2B experience is advantageous, but FMCG and/or agency experience is also relevant.
2. Broad experience across the Marketing discipline from strategy, positioning, asset creation and execution, measurement and evaluation, and developing marketing capability in others.
3. Demonstrated examples of creating effective and efficient marketing campaigns personally and in delivering through others.
4. Expertise in digital first marketing, building brands across digital channels in addition to precision/performance marketing (lead generation through specific activities).
5. Ability to influence multiple stakeholders (with varying degrees of marketing experience) within a complex organization.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with cultural understanding to influence in a global business.
