Key Responsibilities
In this position as a hardware test engineer, you will work in a dedicated team that tests drive systems for future electric and hybrid vehicles. Due to your conscientious way of working, you will play an important interface role in the organization, coordination, implementation and automation of test procedures. You are the link between external testing institutes and the internal development department and always keep an eye on the various test requirements. After an appropriate induction period, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Hardware testing of inverters for electric traction drives
* Creation of test plans and coordination of test specifications, taking into account customer and standard requirements
* Development of test setups and test adapters for PCBs through to complete inverters
* Adaptation of test specimens for various test series (electrical and mechanical tests)
* Testing and verification of electronic circuits and their implementation in circuit diagrams
* Support for our manufacturing partners worldwide
* Documentation, analysis and reporting of results
Minimum Requirements
* Completed technical studies at a FH or TU (electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar) or HTL with several years of professional experience
* Experience with initial commissioning of prototypes and test setups
* Understanding of automotive engineering requirements
* Practical handling of tools and measuring equipment
* Experience with Python, Doors, Matlab, PSPICE, Labview an advantage
* Communication skills in dealing with team members, customers and suppliers
* Very good knowledge of German and English

Remuneration
It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive remuneration package. The gross yearly salary (for 38,5h/week) according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least €58,000 for this position. Overpayment based on relevant experience and qualifications is common practice.
