Job Title: Enterprise Risk & Resilience Business Partner
Location: Durrington or Falmer, West Sussex (2-3 days a week)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Overview
Supports the embedment and continual improvement of the Risk and Resilience Management framework into the business’ ways of working, to ensure risk informed decisions are made, supporting Southern Water’s commitment to meet its regulatory requirements and deliver a high-quality service for stakeholders.
1. Partner with the business to ensure risk & control processes are embedded in the culture, operations, and systems used by all. Providing expert knowledge and guidance on risk management and control best practice to drive and exemplify adherence to agreed policies and procedures.
2. Support the delivery of improvements in the risk and resilience framework, methods and application.
3. Support the coordination and preparation of risk & resilience reporting and presentations to Internal and External committees.
4. Provide oversight on our Business Continuity Management arrangements and support the business to deliver adherence to agreed policies and procedures.
About You
5. Capable of providing effective, independent challenge to senior colleagues to adopt best practice systems and processes to deliver best value performance and to be comfortable under challenge.
6. Work independently and apply expertise to guide senior colleagues through the risk management and control frameworks.
7. Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management and control methodologies and frameworks.
8. Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity and Crisis Management processes
9. Keep abreast of product developments and trends in risk management by maintaining awareness of relevant changes.
10. An excellent communicator, able to articulate succinctly complex issues to senior internal and external decision makers through written reports and presentations.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington or Falmer office and home. We are offering a salary of up to £50,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
