The Opportunity Here at Kettleby Foods we are looking for a People focused Maintenance Manager to help to support the team in structured development and progression. We want someone who can motivate, encourage and role model the right behaviours to our Engineering talent of the future. You will be report into the Engineering Manager and will play a key part in getting the best out of everyone to not only keep production running but find better ways of working, increased efficiency and long term solutions, not just quick fixes. Key Responsibilities : Health and Safety is a top priority and you will make sure that there is a safe working culture and that the highest safety levels are maintained for the team and by the team.
You will need to manage, motivate and develop the engineering team - making sure that the right resources are in place to provide an efficient and effective service.
Work with the Engineering Manager to develop the site engineering strategy which in turn will support the short and long term business strategy
You will also need to support with contractor management, making sure that contractors adhere to the same high standards that we expect from our own colleagues, that all legal requirements are met and where possible that we can learn from our contractors.
By owning and reviewing KPIs and budget you will be able to monitor the success of the team in providing an efficient and effective service.

As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: - IOSH managing safely or equivalent
HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering
Manufacturing experience within a supervisory role - food experience would be great but is not essential
Experienced in CMMS systems and a good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Email
Good level of numeracy to accurately monitor the budget
