The Role
:
As a Building Surveyor, you will be reporting to Senior Associate Building Surveyor / Partner while crafting dilapidations schedules and estimating costs.
In this role you will be required to travel to fulfil project requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Drafting tenants lease liability schedules.
2. Providing guidance on lease obligations and break options.
3. Offering strategic advice on negotiation tactics and timing.
4. Advising clients on repair works versus financial settlements.
5. Negotiating settlements with landlords and tenants.
6. Procurement and project management as needed.
7. Offering Section 18 Valuations per Landlord and Tenant Act .
8. Commercial building surveys and due diligence reports.
9. Defects analysis and report composition.
10. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys and CAPEX Schedules.
Requirements:
11. Previous experience working in a similar role.
12. Relevant educational background with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
13. Hold a degree, preferably with RICS accreditation.
14. Hold a MRICS certification.
15. Skilled in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
