The Role
An opportunity has arisen within NHS Lanarkahire for a Clerical Officer based within Unversity Hospital Monklands.
The Clerical Officer provides a patient administration service within the Health Records Department, which administratively underpins the patient’s journey to and through the hospital, both inpatient and outpatient care, to meet the needs of patients and health care professionals.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Educated to standard grade.
2. A knowledge of health records gained through 2 years experience and/or qualification at SVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.
3. Customer care skills.
4. Computer literate and keyboard skills.
5. Knowledge in multi tasking.
6. Knowledge of Confidentiality and Data Protection.
7. Knowledge of handling and moving skills.
8. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative (working alone).
9. Good interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff at all levels.
