Our client, a business based in Cannock Wood, require an Accounts Assistant for a temporary to permanent contract. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and are hardworking, conscientious, and reliable. THE ROLE
The role reports to the Financial Controller working in a small and busy team. You will be responsible for matching, batching, and processing purchase invoices and credits and posting to purchase ledger. Authorising payments runs and reconciling the bank statements on SAP. Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with all invoice related queries. Dealing with refunds and copy invoices and general assistance in the accounts department.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have a good understanding of the accounts function with 2 years plus experience. You will be looking to work in a small and friendly team and be flexible and organised. Knowledge of the accounts processes would be a distinct advantage and the ability to work on own initiative. You will be available on a short notice and have a knowledge of MS excel. SAP would be an advantage. Computer literacy essential.
