Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partner with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar. What will I be doing? The Process Engineer main functions will include: Maintaining and improving plant performance and efficiency Plating tooling control improvements using robust and organised electronic and visual systems Produce innovative tooling designs to reduce set ups to improve performance and reduce reject rates. This will include solutions for process improvements Reduce processing times and rejects through the generation and maintenance of robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operator use Support 8D reject investigations through analysis of reject data and feedback results to the operators and Management teams Attend and provide input and support to QRQC. Lead lean sigma initiatives in a facilitating / support capacity, eliminate waste activity though standardisation, drive out operating and working capital cost Support competence improvements through structured training syllabuses and assessments You will be expected to support organisational projects linked to new capabilities, growth and site efficiency. This is a key position in the business where you will work alongside process experts and with the management team to improve shop process times, efficiency and reduce rejects to a minimum.
