Wood Process & Energy is recruiting a Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s)on a staff basis.
Hybrid Working - working from home and some days a week expected in our Glasgow office.
You will be required to coordinate and deliver the engineering for an assigned project scope to a schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards.

Who we are looking for:
1. Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices that define and govern Project Engineering deliverables
2. Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables and the need for accuracy and timely issue
3. Fully conversant with project scopes and work carried out by all engineering disciplines and various interface and inter-discipline coordination requirements among the various disciplines including procurement and construction
4. Commercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control
5. Has a good knowledge of engineering standards, procedures, and work practices; follows
project execution flow chart; develops skills in project and technical execution
6. Able to lead a small team; develops skills of leadership with minimum intervention from the manager
7. CDM experience is a preference
8. Experience gained either as a discipline engineer in a project environment or in more junior project engineering roles
9. Good understanding of technical work scope, key dates, and milestones
10. Completely familiar with project contractual and commercial requirements
11. Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and can deliver to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines
12. Good Negotiation and Presentation skills
13. Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
