GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our client schools in Braintree, where you will have the chance to teach across both primary and secondary key stages. This exciting role as a Science Teacher involves creating lesson plans, designing a curriculum-aligned Science syllabus, and providing one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with SEND needs, ensuring they reach their full academic potential. Responsibilities of Science Teacher: Deliver engaging Science lessons to primary and secondary students in line with the curriculum. Develop a Science syllabus that fosters student understanding and curiosity. Prepare detailed lesson plans catering to the needs of all students, including SEND learners. Offer one-to-one and small group academic support to enhance student performance. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Work with fellow educators to maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and related fields. Science Teacher Job Requirements: QTS or PGCE, NQT, or ECT qualifications are required. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field. Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and experience teaching across multiple key stages. Experience working with students with SEND needs is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for teaching and supporting students in their educational journey.
