Operations Technician
Location: Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 per annum + Call-out Allowance + Overtime
Toro Recruitment is proud to be representing a leading renewable energy provider in the search for a Operations Technician to join their anaerobic digestion (AD) facility in Moreton-in-Marsh.
The Operations Technician will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient running of plant operations, with a specific focus on anaerobic digestion processes. Applicants must have prior experience working on an AD facility to be considered for this role.
Operations Technician – Responsibilities:
* Monitor the anaerobic digestion process through visual inspections and PLC systems.
* Operate a range of mobile machinery, including cranes, forklifts, tractors, and telescopic trucks.
* Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and maintaining high site standards.
* Support the engineering team in completing preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety procedures across the site.
Operations Technician – Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience working within an anaerobic digestion facility is essential.
* Skilled in operating mobile plant and machinery within an industrial setting.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices in a processing or energy environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Mechanical awareness and the ability to follow operational procedures closely.
What This Role Offers:
* Base salary of £35,000 – £37,000 per annum.
* Additional call-out allowance worth approximately £5,000 per year.
* Paid overtime for any work carried out beyond core hours.
* 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, days only).
