Scope of Role:
Maintain and administer the Business Management System (BMS) across the business, developing and maintaining standardised working practices and ensuring compliance to customer, regulatory and certification body requirements through internal audit.
Support all customer, regulatory and certification body audits.
Support regulatory training across the business e.g., Human Factors.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
1. Manage the internal audit programme to UK Reg Part 21G, UK Reg Part 145, EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145, FAA, AS9100
2. Lead problem solving teams in line with the AAG standard processes to ensure effective root cause and corrective/preventive actions are implemented
3. Lead all customer, regulatory and certification body audits
4. Support regulatory training across the business e.g., Human Factors
5. Maintain the company BMS
6. Support closeout of actions raised during customer, regulatory and certification body audits as required and address any areas for improvement identified
7. Management of the document change control process, including all processes, procedures, work instructions and standard operating procedures
8. Support the coordination of regulatory requirements and monitor regulatory changes affecting the organisation and its approvals
9. Ensure customer specifications are incorporated into processes and procedures
10. Support improvement activities in line with the organisations policy deployment process
11. Maintain quality data to support weekly, monthly, and annual Management Reviews
12. Have sufficient knowledge to support the FAIR process to AS9102
13. Monitor and escalate, where necessary, internal product quality issues
14. Participate in improvement activities including 5S driving improvements in quality standards across the business
Education & Qualifications:
1. GCSE or equivalent Grades A to C in Maths and English
2. Aerospace engineering qualification or closely related
3. Auditing certification
4. Business Management System
5. Administration
