Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Specialty Doctor in Urology at Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board, which is situated in the three County Boroughs of Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf. The successful applicant will support an expanding clinical workforce over three of the boroughs, based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant and covering clinical services at Prince Charles in Merthyr Tydfil and Princess of Wales in Bridgend. Main duties of the job The role will cover all aspects of Urology Services working at Middle Grade. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who wish to gain wider experience in the specialty in an acute setting and help prepare them for higher training. A wide range of general experience is a requirement, and special interests, which complement existing services, will be supported. The successful candidate will work in regular outpatient clinics, theatre sessions and registrar on-call duties (1 in 7). A flexible weekly timetable will include clinics, theatre and diagnostics.
