My client is looking for a Regional Business Manager to cover their Midlands Region. The ideal candidate will manage and grow existing accounts as well as oversee New Business Development specifically in the Distributor Market.
My client is a global manufacturing company and would ideally prefer someone with experience in the Manufacturing or Catering industry.
To be considered for the role of Regional Business Manager, you must have: excellent Account Management Experience, the ability to network and manage relationships at all levels, and be driven to deliver new business results.
Responsibilities of the Regional Business Manager role include:
1. Overall management of the Midlands region.
2. Stimulating growth in dealer and public-sector business.
3. Applying the regional unit strategy to target customers and areas of business.
4. Identifying new potential customers and forming a business plan each year for business development.
5. Establishing a network of regional dealers or kitchen house companies to ensure comprehensive dealer coverage.
6. Assisting dealers with site visits or trade exhibitions if required.
7. Communicating updates and information relating to special offers or promotions on the unit range of products to dealers.
8. Utilising data platforms to win business and keeping up to date with the latest regional trading performances, presenting this to the business unit team regularly.
9. Actively pursuing new business and recommending ways to attract greater market share and/or penetration.
10. Liaising with the UK Regional Business Manager monthly to review regional performance, service issues, new product development, and current market trends.
11. Preparing regional sales forecasts as required by the UK Regional Business Manager.
12. Attending sales meetings and assisting with the planning and delivery of regional meetings as required.
13. Liaising with other Regional Business Managers and internal sales team members on prospects, opportunities, and database information sharing.
14. Presenting new business start-up package templates for prospective new dealers.
15. Attending business conferences, exhibitions, and trade associations as required.
16. Liaising with other departments to meet customer requirements.
My client seeks someone who can maximise current customer spend and develop new business opportunities. This role will be working alongside a close-knit team that thrives on delivering results.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. My client offers a 25-day holiday allowance and a market-leading pension scheme.
