This position as an Accounts/Tax Portfolio Manager in Staines offers a great opportunity within a vibrant, well-established firm of chartered accountants in Surrey. The role is 50% accounts vs 50% Personal Tax based overseeing a portfolio of GBP(Apply online only)k.
Responsibilities:
* Client Management: Overseeing a portfolio of clients worth approximately GBP(Apply online only)k, including limited companies, partnerships, and individuals.
* Accounts & Tax Preparation:
o Year-end accounts preparation
o Management accounts and VAT returns
o Supervision and reviewing accounts from offshore bookkeeping team
o Personal / Business Tax advisory/compliance, income tax returns and computations
* Compliance & Advisory: Monitoring statutory compliance in accounts and taxation matters, advising clients, and holding client meetings.
* Team Supervision: Supervising junior staff, planning and monitoring work, providing training, and assessing performance.
* Business Development: Promoting the firm's services and managing new client onboarding.
* Liaison: Regularly liaising with the partners of the firm.
Requirements:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
* Minimum 5 years of UK practice background, with an interest in client management and personal tax.
* Strong technical skills and the ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively.
* Competitive salary of GBP55–65k
