Reference: cf9fe55f Job Purpose: I am a friendly gentleman living in Poringland who is seeking a PA to support me in the community and assist me with everyday living tasks such as accompanying me to social and leisure activities, assisting me to take my dog for a walk, administrative tasks, and personal care. I have a rare condition called Klippel-Feil Syndrome which causes fusion in the cervical spine and depending on the area of fusion, there can be related congenital conditions. I also have Scoliosis, Kyphosis and a rare condition called Aplastic Anaemia. I am a sociable man who likes to keep active. I live at home with my parents, sister and Jack Russell Terrier. I like to get out and about meeting new people and going to the cinema and theatre. I am currently a Trustee at Equal Lives and sit on the Making It Real board. My other roles include the Direct Payments Support Services advisory group and Norwich Kind City Map CIC. This role will be for 2 hours on Friday mornings (day negotiable and subject to schedule) to take me to my gym session and then go for a drink and snack afterwards. This will involve driving my mobility equipped car. Assisting me with walking my dog, as well as taking him out with us to visit friends and hopefully be part of Pets As Therapy. Supporting me at work by assisting me with tasks such as photocopying and proof reading and other administrative duties. Assisting me during meetings by taking minutes. Personal care. Any other duties as required.
