Role Overview: As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. Working closely with our experienced team, you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can develop essential skills and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Providing high-quality care and supervision to children in line with EYFS guidelines. Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences to support children learning and development. Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a sense of belonging and well-being. Observing and assessing children progress and planning individualised learning experiences to meet their needs. Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times, including conducting regular risk assessments and adhering to health and safety procedures. Supporting children personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and nap times, with sensitivity and respect for their individual needs. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to share information, plan activities, and support children holistic development. Engaging in continuous professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education. Requirements: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working in a nursery setting, with a sound understanding of the EYFS framework. Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A positive and proactive attitude, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
