Here at Destination Education, we are working with a specialist post-16 college for visually impaired young people based in Orpington who are looking for enthusiastic SEN teaching assistants to join their team on a fulltime basis. Experience working with visual impairment is not essential; training will be provided on the job.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Help maintain an engaging and stimulating environment for students.
Work 1:1 with students that require extra support.
Provide personal care when needed.SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with students/young adults with special educational needs (SEN)
Experience working in a school environment
Passionate about working with young people with SEN and other learning difficulties
Excellent communication skills, being able to work effectively as part of a team
A positive, can-do attitude.
Be reliable and professional
