Job Description
Up to £390 per week.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join a team at the Inpatient Unit in Lincoln, Nettleham Road.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a care home environment, particularly with end-of-life and palliative care patients.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook meals for up to 11 residents, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met.
– Develop and plan menus that cater to the specific nutritional requirements of residents.
– Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
– Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure meals support the health and well-being of residents.
– Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
– Provide a compassionate and understanding approach to residents’ dietary needs.
Duration: Temp - Perm role. successful candidates will receive permanent contract.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour basic wage.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday Days5 - 6 hour shifts26 - 30 hours a week

Experience & Qualifications
Candidates will require:
– Experience in the care sector.
– Experience ins a Chef/cook hospitality role.
– Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions, particularly for end-of-life and palliative care.
– Strong organisational and time management skills.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
– Experience in menu planning and nutritional assessment.
