Responsibilities Lead; Key Account, Business Development, Revenue Management, Marketing and Commercial department Strategic Leadership Lead the Commercial function, ensuring business plans and strategies are in place to achieve Revenue numbers and goals for business development and company growth Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with company goals In-depth understanding of recruitment industry trends, compliance, and competitive landscape within the construction industry, with consideration of managing disruptive market changesOperational Excellence Provide expertise in optimising processes for the wider organisation to improve efficiency and delivery of commercial functions with high-quality client relations at the centre Own the Customer Relation Management software and utilisation, leading operational efforts to digitise current processes and optimise with Artificial Intelligence where possible Identify areas for service innovation to create a seamless client journey, investing in new product/industry offerings with business plans to secure relevant resources and build growth for the organisation Build the skills of the teams negotiation and Influencing ability to secure high-value contracts and build strategic partnerships Commercial Planning Provide oversight of financial metrics, profitability, and market trends in recruitment to provide the contractual infrastructure for client agreements Ultimate accountability for delivery of bids and tender processes, coaching and supporting the wider commercial teams to work together for effective management and successful outcomes Ensure that Client agreements are created, led and facilitated in a dynamic environment to support the operational business Responsible for identifying, mitigating and managing risks (economic, legal, market) that could impact business success. Lead market intelligence on any future M&A activitySales Lead efforts in identifying new market opportunities and driving client acquisition Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates, and internal teams building on customer feedback and maintaining a positive NPS score Effectively sell all DSG service lines across all accounts including white collar M&E and academy training opportunities Work in partnership, utilising and leveraging the Operations function to support Business Development at grass roots Strengthen client relationships to increase retention and lifetime value Lead the negotiation of major client contracts and service agreementMarketing Manage the relationship with the outsourced marketing provider, ensuring ROI, and adherence to campaigns Increase the company’s brand presence and thought leadership in the recruitment industry Drive lead generation and employer branding efforts to support the recruitment pipeline Drive the ‘top of mind’ strategy to promote the Sullivans group within industry standingRevenue Management Oversee pricing strategies to maximize gross margin, using real-time information to provide dynamic pricing tools for clients and customers Provide governance for a creating a dynamic function using analytics to inform strategy and measure success Analyse market trends and create targeted business development plans Work across functions to maximise the use government grants, allowances and external funding where possible to supplement revenue streamsChange Management Partner with senior leaders to design and implement change initiatives that support the wider organisational development Communicate change initiatives effectively to all stakeholders Drive transformation initiatives and aligning the team with evolving business goalsTeam Management Build a high-performing sales team and foster a culture of accountability and achievement, leading in skills development across the function Ensure a high level of employee industry knowledge is maintained and forecasting of future skills to support business development and change in industry sectors Oversee and mentor the Commercial team, ensuring effective performance, professional growth, team capabilities and morale.
