We're looking for motivated individuals to join us as general assistants at our hotel to help with the upkeep of the property. This role consists of housekeeping, laundry, and front-desk reception tasks.
This position is available as of April 2025. It is a seasonal position.
Tasks
1. Ensure the security of the building and guests.
2. Actively detect guests’ needs and resolve them.
3. Ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs and maintain updated records of bookings and payments in our Property Management System.
4. Deal with special requests from guests.
5. Report any issues detected.
6. Ensure supplies are available as necessary.
7. Ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
8. Provide basic housekeeping duties including replacing linens, changing and arranging towels, emptying trash, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging rooms after guests check out.
9. Clean rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, cleaning glass and windows, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets.
10. Ensure gardens look tidy and clean at all times; ensure paved areas/slabs are weed-free.
11. Inspect linens for stains and treat them accordingly.
12. Place all laundry in the washer and add cleaning agents as directed.
13. Take out clothes and linens after washing and dry and iron them following the manufacturer's recommendations.
14. Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager.
15. Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management.
