The Role – Facilities Manager We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities in both our Runcorn and Aberdeen premises. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. Your goal is to ensure our business accommodation is problem-free and safe for employees to work within the best conditions. The ideal candidate will be well-organised and able to optimise the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart amongst our candidate pool. Key Responsibilities Facility Management – Oversee daily facility operations to ensure functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency. Develop and manage facility budgets including forecasting future needs for upgrades and maintenance. Maintenance Management – Organise the scheduling of all maintenance and repair work. Implement and manage preventive maintenance program for both Runcorn and Aberdeen office. Health & Safety – Collaborate on developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. Conduct frequent inspections to identify and address any safety hazards and coordinate emergency response plans and drills. Ensure high standards of housekeeping in all workspaces. Project Management – Plan and coordinate installations and refurbishments, oversee construction/renovation projects to ensure timely and budget compliant completion Vendor Management – Establish and maintain professional relationships with contractors and service providers, collaborate with procurement for facility related suppliers and services and review and negotiate contracts while managing vendor performance. Team Leadership – Ensure efficient work flow and conduct performance reviews while providing feedback and guidance About You Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field will be an advantage Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage Ability to multitask Highly driven, energetic, and proactive. Proficient in Office 365 Suite of Ap ve or social to-do. It is something that we strongly believe and promote. Superb benefits: Pension with company contribution up to 12.5% dependent upon criteria, private medical insurance and healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increments based on length of service. Contract type: Permanent Staff Role. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs.
