Job Title: English Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one English language tutoring to students
* Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' needs and proficiency levels
* Assist students in improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
* Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve
Required Qualifications:
* Proficiency in English language
* Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in English tutoring or teaching
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of English grammar, syntax, and vocabulary
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
* Patience and empathy in working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or equivalent
* Experience working with international students
Working Conditions:
The English Tutor role is based in Oxfordshire, with tutoring sessions taking place in various locations. The position is part-time, with flexible hours based on student availability. The tutor may need to travel to different locations for tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
