Senior Performance Marketing Manager, Accountants
Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading and optimising the UKI Accountants NCA & Groundgame marketing plan and team, setting and delivering against the targets and revenue plans in region (driving engagement, customer/client acquisition and revenue growth). Marketing Lead for the UKI planning process for accountants. Lead on trading interlock with sales & performance in region - driving performance & optimisation. This role will oversee the development and execution of data driven, ROI-focused campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Manage a high performing team, driving innovation in campaign strategies while continuously analysing performance metrics to achieve exception results across all channels. Drive collaboration, prioritisation and execution through the UKIA digital & campaign hubs.
Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our Manchester, Newcastle or Winnersh office.
Key Responsibilities
• Marketing Lead & Cross functional Collaboration for UKI NCA Accountants interlocking with UKI Small leadership team - accountable for delivering against regional targets.
• Strategy Development & plan ownership (strategic & demand plan) for UKI NCA Accountants across all channels - develop and lead the performance through lockstep with RTR organisation through the Annual budget planning process & ongoing trading / roadmap launches, seasonal opportunities etc.
• Accountable for NCA (new practices, new clients) marketing for to and through accountants covering all products: SBCA, SBCP, Sage 50, SFA, Go Proposal, AutoEntry, Futrli.
• Accountability for all NCA & Groundgame marketing performance and contribution to BU in region (units, ARR, trials, SQOs, MQLs, CPAs, LTV:CAC) covering all practice personas (including larger practices) and leveraging MTD to drive volume.
• Primary lead for BU to interlock with UKIA digital & campaign hubs to construct plan, prioritise, execute & optimise performance.
• Performance Analysis and reporting: Regularly lead and report on performance using KPIs such as conversion rates, ROI and CAC etc - working in hand with hubs. Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to senior leadership and stakeholders. Own trading process through weekly performance calls, hub interlocks & primary lead within the regional sales trading calls laddering up to the WBR, MBR processes.
• Data-Driven Decisions: leverage analytics, testing and performance data to make informed decisions and implement strategies to improve acquisition costs and overall campaign effectiveness.
• Budget Management: Oversee allocation and management of budget ensuring spend optimised and aligned. To business objectives. Track, report and adjust as needed to ensure maximum ROI. Accountability for £m marketing budget.
• Team Leadership & development: Lead and manage a high-performing team.
• Lockstep with IC, RTR and PMM to ensure requirements for BU in region are met and tight collaboration on priorities.
Skills, know-how and experience:
• Experience in a marketing management role.
• Results driven with strong commercial acumen and focus on KPIs / performance.
• Experience in fast paced / sales led organisation.
• Strong understanding of both ecommerce trading & assisted funnels. Understanding of working with B2B, B2C and channel marketing advantage.
• Proven experience in digital & field marketing.
• Sound leadership skills to inspire and motivate your team.
• Exceptional communication to negotiate and influence at senior level.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and multi team approach - influencing across teams to get to right outcome including through the new UKIA hubs & regional structures.
• Resilience and strong accountability.
