Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking applications from individuals for the role of permanent Human Resources Advisor within the Human Resources Department based at Service Headquarters, Carmarthen.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the management of equality, diversity and inclusion matters within the Service to ensure associated activities are incorporated into mainstream people management practices and Service plans. Develop procedures and provide advice on all aspects of equality of opportunity and diversity in all Service activities as an employer and as a service provider, and to promote a culture of inclusion.
Furthermore, support the delivery of the Service’s objectives as set out in its Strategic Equality Plan and Culture and Inclusion action plans providing advice for all staff and line managers with regard to inclusion matters. Contribute to improving the performance of the HR Department with the development, review, implementation and promotion of Human Resources strategies, objectives and procedures.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week with flexible hours in line with the Service’s flexi-time scheme.
