South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.
We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 411 beds. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, the Home Manager is responsible as the registered manager to oversee the entire service.
The Home Manager will lead and manage the operation of our specialist nursing and dementia home, Abundant Grace, you will work closely with your management team, providing strong leadership and inspiration.
You will ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship centred care, clinical compliance, hospitality services and business performance.
What the home requires in a manager:
1. NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN
2. Ideally experience of working as CQC Registered Manager specialising in Nursing care for the elderly and frail. Applicants with substantial experience working at Deputy Manager level may also be considered
3. A strong leader, who is able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff
4. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a nursing home
5. Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budget
Position and reward for successful candidate:
6. An excellent annual salary of up to £75K per annum depending on experience
7. 25 Days Holiday plus usual bank holidays
8. A permanent, full-time contract of 40 hours per week
9. Usual working hours will be weekday day shifts, with some flexibility required for quality monitoring purposes, on-call duties due to the seniority of the role
