We have an opportunity for a Rent Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance Team in Basingstoke.
This is a fixed term, full time role for 12 months with a mix of home and office working.
We are offering a starting salary of £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
The role:
You will be responsible for two teams looking after both rent and property activities for our customers at SNG. This includes rent accounting, new tenancies, direct debits and setting up developments. Working across our Christchurch and Basingstoke offices you will spend one day a week with each team and oversee their day to day activities.
As a Rent Accounting Supervisor you will be making sure your teams are providing an efficient, high performing service that meets it's Service Level Agreements. You'll also support with queries from both our customers and from our colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
Your teams carry out a range of activities so it is essential that you are experienced in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
Experience in accounting, financial processing, and account reconciliation, with a strong ability to manage and review financial transactions, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Strong customer service focus.
The ability to plan and prioritise tasks and manage resources in order to meet multiple deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient use of Microsoft office programmes, particularly Excel.
As you'll need to travel in this role, having a car and full driving licence is essential.
