Our client, based in Kent, is currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould Surveyor on a 12-week temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis.
The hourly rate is between £35
- £40 per hour via umbrella.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in reactive maintenance, diagnosing and ordering reactive repairs.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): Provide technical solutions and support on complex repairs and maintenance issues related to damp condensation, and mould (DC&M) including monitoring of works/services where required Monitor progress of DC&M and disrepair cases and ensure that appropriate remedial works are in place within an appropriate timescale to avoid dissatisfied customers and escalation of disrepair Supporting the responsive repairs team and planned works team whilst looking for positive solutions to reported DC&M case Accurately diagnose, specify, order, supervise and manage technical DC&M solutions whilst considering all repairs needed Provide accurate analysis and specification of works, raising orders for remedial works, preparing variations and ensuring completion to approved timescales within budget and ensure value for money Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working in reactive maintenance Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Excellent knowledge of building and housing regulations and legislation Knowledge and understanding of landlords’ statutory repair, maintenance and health and safety responsibilities including fire risk Knowledge of schedule of rates contracts Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working Flexible working days Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
